
Return & Exchange Policy
Thank you for shopping at 098 Designs! If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, I invite you to review my policy on refunds and returns. The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchased from 098designs.com:

30-Day Return Policy: This means specifically 30 days from the official product delivery.
BUT! Because I will need a chance to approve the request and start the return process, you will need to send me everything I need for the return ideally within 25 days of the official delivery otherwise I may not be able to get the refund request placed in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, if you are outside the 30-Day return window, then 098 Designs cannot facilitate a return or refund.

What constitutes a return/refund? Any Exceptions?
​
1. Damaged Products or Manufacturing Errors: In the case that your product arrives damaged or there is a manufacturing error, you will be offered a free reprint or a refund, provided you report the issue within 30 days of delivery.

Damage is defined as defective in appearance or functionality:
This includes issues with the product's outward appearance (e.g., chipped mugs, torn packaging, or broken seals) or its inability to function as intended.
Manufacturing Mistakes are defined as: ​

Incorrect printing: This can include issues like crooked prints, smeared ink, colors not matching the design, or the wrong print size or placement.
For Direct to Garment (DTG) prints (think shirts), there is a tolerance of 1" for print placement, meaning that minor variations in the placement of the print will not be considered as defects.
Low-quality printing: Examples include faded colors, uneven ink coverage, or the garment color showing through the print.
Sizing issues: If a garment deviates significantly from the size chart measurements
Electronic device malfunctions: Defective electronic devices (e.g., phones cases with built-in chargers or speakers) would also fall under this category. ​​​​

2. Wrong Product Received: If you receive the wrong product, a free reprint or a full refund is offered if reported within 30 days of delivery.

3. Damaged or Lost in Transit: If a product is damaged or lost during shipping, [with proof] it qualifies for a free reprint or refund if the issue is reported within 30 days of delivery.

4. Invalid Address: If an order is returned to the sender due to an invalid address, a refund of only the product price will be issued.
​
5. Low-quality prints due to a low-quality design: This would be an error on mine, 098 Designs, side. As such, if Printify determines that the print issue is because of this, then 098 Designs will offer either a full refund of the product or a free replacement of a similar product to the impacted customer.
This is because Printify does not offer free reprints for print issues caused by a poor quality design file provided by the user (aka 098 Designs).

What is NOT considered eligible for a return/refund?

1. If your order was correct but you've realized it wasn't the size, color, ETC. you really wanted: As these are made-to-order products, created only when an order is placed, standard returns and exchanges are generally not supported. These are for situations when a customer unintendedly orders the wrong size, color, ETC.

If you are in this situation, please contact 098 Designs for a one-time-only-per-customer-discount coupon to reorder the correct size, color, ETC. This offer is only applied for the first incident per customer.
If this is the second time or more, you are in this situation, you must repurchase the correct size, color, ETC. per normal.
2. Customer simply changes their mind: As these products are made on demand, returns or exchanges are not supported in such cases.
3. Minor size deviations: Garments with minor size deviations (below 1 inch) from the size guide measurements are not considered defects.

4. If the delivery is a couple days delayed from its original estimated arrival time: A slight delay in delivery does not automatically constitute a refund of any kind. If you feel that your delivery date was significantly off, then 098 Designs will determine on a case by case basis if a refund/return of any sort is necessary.

I've Confirmed I need a Return, How do I Submit a Request?

Please include:
1. Invoice/Order Number
2. Date of Purchase
3. Your Name
4. The Best Email to Contact you With
5. Photos of the Items in Question

Photo Proof is Required
If there’s an issue affecting multiple products that use the same design, an additional photo (or video) of all affected items visible in one frame will be required for confirmation purposes.
​
No need to return faulty items: You do not need to send the damaged or flawed items back to the return address; photo proof is generally sufficient.
​
Once I've reviewed your request, and approved it, I will submit the refund claim. Once the refund process is started, it cannot be canceled or reversed.

How/When do I receive my refund?​
​
Once your refund has been approved, refunds paid in United States Dollar (USD) are issued to 098 Designs' Printify Account Balance. 098 Designs will then withdraw the refund amount to transfer it back to your original payment method.
​
IF! Your selected billing currency is not USD, please note that the refund will be returned directly to the original payment source.
​
Please expect 3-10 Business Days for your refund to drop, though this can vary depending on the bank and payment method.

Side Note: 098 Designs utilizes Printify's services to provide made-to-order products, and thus follows closely to Printify's Return and Refund policy. Below is a snippet from Printify's policy for reference only.

"Printify is a print-on-demand company, which means that all products are unique and produced only once ordered. This also means that returns and exchanges are not supported if your customer ordered the wrong size, color, or simply changed their mind. However, in case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, Printify offers a free reprint or a refund if you contact us within 30 days of product delivery.
